The Hub is upCYCLE LDN's community space in Brixton, available to hire for events, workshops, classes, meetings and more. Every booking directly funds the programmes that sit at the heart of what we do: getting more bikes into the hands of people who need them, running community repair workshops, and building skills and confidence through cycling. When you hire with us, you're helping keep our work going.

Main Room
The Main Room is a versatile, light-filled space with a flexible layout that allows the room to transform easily for a variety of uses, from workshops and events to exercise classes and film screenings.Clubroom
The Clubroom is a relaxed, adaptable space designed for smaller groups who want somewhere comfortable to meet, create and spend time together. It’s well suited to informal workshops, mentoring sessions, small group discussions and low-key events that benefit from an intimate setting.

The space includes WiFi, a 65” TV for and power sockets available throughout the rooms.
There is also a large storage unit on wheels that can be used as a DJ booth or event station if needed.
If you have additional technical or equipment requirements, please include this when you enquire. You’re also welcome to bring your own equipment, just let us know in advance so we can make sure everything is set up safely.

The space includes 5 tables, 10 chairs, and 12 stools. Each stool seats two people, allowing for flexible layouts to suit different group sizes and activities.

We can provide tea and coffee making facilities for your booking. You’re also welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
Please note that alcohol cannot be sold on the premises. If you have any specific catering plans, let us know when you enquire so we can advise.

Music is permitted, but the venue is located in a residential area, so volume must be kept to a reasonable level at all times.
Music must end by 10:00pm, and all guests must leave the premises by 10:30pm. We also ask that attendees leave quietly and do not loiter outside, out of respect for our neighbours.
If your event includes music or a DJ, please let us know when you enquire so we can make sure it’s suitable for the space.

Yes. Please email us with details of your event or activity first, and we’ll arrange a viewing if the space looks suitable and availability matches your needs.

Visitor parking is not available before 6pm on weekdays or before 1pm on Saturdays. Parking becomes free and unrestricted after 6pm on weekdays, after 1pm on Saturdays, and all day on Sundays.
There are also a small number of paid parking spaces approximately 250 metres away. Please check local signage for the most up-to-date information and restrictions.
