The Islabikes Luath is a premium, lightweight road and cyclocross bike designed specifically for young riders. Built by Islabikes, the pioneers of child-specific bike geometry, the Luath combines high performance, low overall weight, and scaled-down controls so young cyclists can ride with confidence, speed, and safety.

Age Range: 9 to 11 years
Approximate Minimum Height: 138cm to 158cm
Inside Leg Measurement: 65cm – 75cm
Key Features & Specifications:
Frame: Super lightweight 6061 aluminium frame with youth-specific geometry.
Gears: 8-speed Shimano drivetrain with simple 1x front chainring setup
Brakes: Tektro cantilever rim brakes. Crucially, it features secondary top-mounted "interrupter" brake levers on the flats of the handlebars, allowing confident braking from multiple hand positions.
Wheels & Tyres: 26-inch quick-release aluminium wheels. Fitted with fast-rolling road/commuter tyres.
Extras Included: Fitted with full-length front and rear mudguards, making it fully winter-ready and practical for all-weather riding.
The bike is in excellent mechanical working order. The frame paintwork is bright and clean with just the minor, superficial cosmetic marks/scuffs
This is a pre-owned bike that has been donated to our organisation upCYCLE LDN. All proceeds raised from the sale of this bike go towards running bike repair workshops and providing bikes for young people. All of our bikes have been refurbished and certified by a qualified mechanic.
